NCPD Review Meeting with JHPIEGO, other Partners and National Stakeholders’

Objective of the meeting

Share with the stakeholders the key population and development activities that NCPD and other partners have recently involved in.

TCI has been a partner of NCPD in scaling up the uptake of modern family planning for a long time since the TUPANGE project and our partnership continues to develop and evolve with the dynamics of population and development issues.

NCPD carried out a pilot survey on family studies in two counties Kwale and Muranga in 2021/2022 and report being finalized.

NCPD continues to spearhead the campaign against teenage pregnancies which KDHS report shows a down time from 18% in 2014 to 15% in 2022.

On the Triple Threat NCPD partnered with KCB in 2023 to support 100 pregnant teenagers and those who have who have given birth to transition to forum one.

There is a need for stakeholders to support the back to school policy and scale this Project.
