Public Education and Advocacy Directorate

The Public Education and Advocacy (PEA) Directorate is responsible for;

  1. Coordinating planning and implementation of advocacy and public education strategies at national and county levels. Key activities include developing content for advocacy and public education information materials, popularizing and promoting the goals and objectives of the National Population Policy, raising awareness on population and development issues and disseminating evidence-based information that highlights the linkages
    between population and development.
  2. Advocating for increased budgetary allocation and support for implementation of the National Population Policy and Programme at national and county levels
  3. Integration of population variables into programming at all levels.
  4. Organizing regular sensitization forums on population issues for different
    stakeholders is also a key activity
