AGPO REGISTRATION AND SENSITIZATION WORKSHOP

The National Council for Population and Development (NCPD) is a Semi-Autonomous
Government Agency under the National Treasury and Economic Planning whose
mandate is to undertake analysis, formulation, development and coordination of the
implementation of Population policies and program for Sustainable Development.
As one of the requirements of the Government’s affirmative action program, NCPD
intends to build the capacity of the Women, Youth and PWDs under the Access to
Government Procurement Opportunities (AGPO). The workshop aims at improving
the uptake of the available opportunities by the mentioned groups.
NCPD therefore invites all firms registered under AGPO program for a workshop to be
held on 24th February, 2023 at Clarion Hotel, Nairobi, starting at 10.00 am.

Specific objectives of the workshop;
1. To exhibit the opportunities available in the 2022/2023 procurement budget
reserved for youth, women and PWDs
2. To provide information, obtain feedback and requirements for improved
uptake of the opportunities by the groups
3. To pass information on other happenings at the Council that are of interest to
a variety of stakeholders
