Population Policy for Sustainable Development First Phase of County Disseminations

On 14th October, 2023 Parliament passed the Sessional Paper No. 1 of 2023 on Kenya National Population Policy for sustainable Development. This Population policy for Sustainable Development was launched at the national level in June 6th 2024 and thereafter county dissemination forums started across all the 47 counties. The first phase of county disseminations is ongoing and some of the already done counties include; South Region – Samburu, Baringo and Nakuru counties, Eastern South region – Machakos, Makueni and Kitui counties and North Eastern region, Madera County.

AGPO sensitization and Registration

As one of the requirements of the Government’s affirmative action program, NCPD intends to build the capacity of Women, Youth and PWDs aimed at improving the uptake of the available opportunities reserved for them.

All staff are invited to join the hybrid meeting scheduled for 1st November, 2023 HQ and Nairobi Office staff can join physically. The department intends to utilize the opportunity to sensitize all stake holders (including NCPD staff) on new developments on public sector SCM . Purpose to attend
